| Glencadia Dog Camp accepts no liability for your dog in our care. In social settings it is impossible to monitor 24 hours a day. At times dogs can play rough which could cause minor injuries. Please understand that we do everything we can to prevent any of this from happening. |
| No Aggressive Dogs |
| Routinely or habitually aggressive dogs are not allowed at Glencadia Dog Camp. |
| Puppies |
| Puppies under 6 months of age are not allowed at Glencadia Dog Camp. |
| Pick up / Drop off |
| For free pick up and drop off in Brooklyn and Manhattan someone must be available by phone to come outside for sidewalk delivery or pick up. This will be on a Monday or Thursday evening. Failure to meet this condition may result in the driver leaving, canceling your reservation or requiring re-scheduling of drop off with an additional charge to you. Be home by the phone and come down to the sidewalk with the dog. Thank you. |
| Info in Reservation |
| Please put all information necessary to complete pick up / drop off into this reservation form. Same goes for medical issues: enter important info into this database. You can revise info later by going to glencadia.com, clicking reservation link, signing in, and amending the reservation. Any additional information you send to us by phone, SMS, email, US mail, telex, fax, telegram, smoke signal, carrier pigeon, morse code, or talking drum may or may not be available to the driver when s/he needs it. It is your responsibility to make sure the system has the right dates and address and so on to get your dog when you want us to. Log in and check. Thank you. |
| Vaccines |
| All dogs must have current rabies, distemper and kennel cough vaccines. |
| Payment |
| Check or cash when your dog is returned is our preferred method of payment. We also accept credit card and paypal payments online. Credit cards are processed through paypal. You do not need a paypal account to pay with a credit card through paypal. |
| Social Boarding |
| The philosophy of this model of dog boarding is that the benefits of a social setting and open space outweigh the increased risk of a fight. Be advised: there is a risk of bite wound. Dogs can cause serious injury to each other. |
| Dog Stuff |
| Don't give me anything you want back. Try not to give us anything. |
| Medicine |
| If you give me medicine, keep a couple days worth with you in case I do forget to bring it back so I can mail it back to you later without a crisis, or count out what I need for the stay and only give me as much as I need. Make sure the medicine is in a secure container that a dog or small child cannot open and clearly labelled with the name of the medicine, the name of the dog, and the instructions for giving the medicine. You should also put this information into your reservation in the comments field. Thank you. |

| Dog Collar |
| You must order a special Glencadia Dog Camp collar. The rabies and license information on this collar must be correct.
You must pay a one time fee of $10 and get a collar for your dog. This collar will be good for as many Glencadia visits are you want over as many years as the collar lasts. Remove your regular collar and put the Glencadia collar on before we come to get your dog. The Glencadia collar will have emergency contact info, rabies vaccine info, and local dog license info and you can then keep your regular collar in a safe place. |
| Time |
| Sidewalk pick up/delivery on Monday and Thursday evening. No leaving the key with the doorman. We can't park and come up. Make sure your phone is working and an adult will be next to it from 6 pm to 9 pm unless we have agreed to something else. Thank you. |
| Dog License |
| All dogs must be licensed by the location where you live (usually New York City). You must enter in the information from your dog license into this system correctly. |
| Parasites |
| We are not responsible for the transmission of parasites from dog to dog. If you find out that your dog acquired a communicable parasite at any time before, during or after your stay, please let us know so we can advise other dog owners. Giardia, the only one we've ever actually had, is easily spread and easily treated. |
| No Pit Bulls for the safety of all |
| Pit bulls are not allowed at Glencadia Dog Camp. As the definition of a pit bull is somewhat nebulous, the standard will be the following: if the Glencadia Dog Camp driver shows up to pick up your dog and he or she does thinks it's a pit bull, we reserve the right to refuse to take your dog.
